Hello All

Hello All, new to this forum. (Hope this is in the correct forum?)

Question: I have a Motorola Razor V3 ROHS Tied to Vodafone.

I want to make it Sim free, as i wish to use Vodafone and o2 Sims.

Vodafone said it could take upto a couple months to get the Unlock code, but we all know why that is.

I use Pay-as-you-go as i cannot afford contract, don't really use mobiles enough to warrant the extra expenditure.

Any one got the code to Release my Motorola V3.

o2 card asks for a "Subsidy Code."

Thanks, Gep

Cool

Vodafone ask Motorola to send them the handset unlock codes.

Normally their are 3-4 unlock codes per handset.

Im suprised they have not charged you an admin fee for this unlock code.

Couple of months for the code is nonsense and you should push them for it.
Unlocking this way safely opens the handset to all networks.

Unlocking by using a shop/market trader can fry the fone or cause issues like signal drop.

Also take note that when vodafone purchased the handset they will have put some of their own software on it which can cause problems when trying to use another networks sim card.

Yeah i agree lee! like vodafone have their plain white and red layout on all phones locked to vodafone. that is just one of the software differences!

Cool Re:Unlock Code

Hello lee, Pedge2k7, thanks for your replies.

Sent off to vodafone, but, will wait forever.
Paid 3.99 and will await code from a company.
See if that will work?

Thanks again, GEP

Cool

3.99 is very reasonable.

I know of some who have paid 20-50 for unlock codes.

Remenber not to put a code in more than 3 times as this will lock up the handset and will need flashing to unlock it again to use the unlock from network codes.

Keep bugging them or become a regular visitor to the shop or even find the networks website and bombard them with e mails.

Good luck in your quest.

Hi!!!!

Do not worry for the good place to get the unlock code for your Motorola model mobile ,
Just visit this site Simple Unlocking , here it gives the step by step instructions to get the mobile unlocked..........after that you can use your mobile with any sim card as you wish..........

I have entered the site you recommend to us, but I find nothing useful there. Can you explain what's happening?
