Panasonic problem

Hi everyone, I am a newbie and this is my first post.
I have a Panasonic VS6 connected to Orange. I live on the Isle of Wight, where the signal can be disrupted. However, the problem I am having at the moment does not appear to be signal related, as this happens with 3+ bars.
What happens is this. I try to make a call, the "phone ringing" icon appears on the handset and then stops and I get "call ended 0.00".
I have looked in the handbook, but there is nothing in the troubleshooting pages.
Can anyone help?

Cool

The call ended is simply a summary after call display which is useful if you want to keep an eye on how long the call has lasted.

However the fone should only end the call if you lose signal or is poor.

If the fone is within warranty then I would book it in with an engineer to check out the power management and ariel of the handset.

Try your simcard in a friends handset and make a call as by doing this you can see wether its the network or the handset.

Nice place to live by the way.
Visited a couple of times myself.

Good luck with the handset.

Thanks Lee, it was a longshot that I would get the definitive answer, so I'll take it back to CPW tomorrow.
You're right, it is a great place to live, but there are drawbacks like little or no signal from time to time. Having said that, I get up in the morning and see various ships going past "the bottom of my garden" and sure beats living in Ealing where I used to live.
