v3 keypad

Hi I have put a new keypad into a v3.Still has the same problem when pressing any key just comes up with ring style volume 7.Can anyone give me any help to why it is still doing this.

It may need a firmware upgrade or dust has got into the connectors which can cause this issue.

If you put the part in yourself then the warranty is now voided.

The v3i is only about £100 now so why not upgrade.

The original v3 is£50 in the cpw so I wouldnt spend too much money in repairing your fone.
