Question Motorola V3

Hello all, I am hoping someone here can help me as I have tried several other forums and had nooo luck!

I have a problem with my external screen, all it shows is the O2 wallpaper, nothing else. It lights up when I have a call and when the phone is in us but it wont show the time, date, missed calls or who is calling me, anyone know why this is and if it can be fixed?

I have tried master reset and master clear but that didnt do the trick. Its driving me crazy now. Thanks loads in advance!

Thing is I bought it from Ebay so obviously wont have the receipt I guess its either a lesson learnt (never buy a phone from ebay!) or resell it? I am also unsure of which shops are authorised to do this? I had a thought though, the phone was unlocked but was previously on O2 network, I have a vodafone sim so could this be the cause do you think?

Cool

It is a possability.

When the networks buy the handsets off the manufacturers they put on their own software which can sometimes not integrate well with another network.

I know e bay has lots of too good to be true offers and sometimes they are , and also sometimes you do get a genuine seller and get a good deal.

The downside is that you have no guarantee if something goes wrong.

I normally suggest buying from a highstreet shop such as C.E.X and they have a site under Cex.com , with them you get to check the fone out and they do come with a 3 month guarantee.
