Ever used a mobile to play a trick on someone?

...nice tricks that is

I used to travel quite a bit on Eurostar to Paris and Brussels. In the business class section you always get someone who spends most of the journey telling their mates where there are etc. Quite often, and usually quite loudly, they would leave their mobile number on someone's voicemail.

I sometimes overheard this and would dial the number from my own mobile.

When the intended victim picked up the call and put their phone to their ear I would hang-up, then watch them for a few minutes while they yelled "hellooooo, can you hear me" etc. After a while they sometimes started calling their mates again to say "did you just call me?", "no?, that's strange....". LOL

If I was being particularly cruel I was do it again later in the journey.

This only works well if you prevent your mobile number from being transmitted...

Any other stories like that?

I have used my phone to take video's or pictures of funny things. Over February school vacation my boyfriend and I took our 6 kids to a museum a couple states away. We woke them up early in hopes that they would sleep in the van, they never did, but they had been watching the Disney movie "High School Musical" for weeks and we had recently bought the CD...all 6 of them sang all the way. I taped it on my phone and it makes me laugh..now anytime my boyfriend calls me the ringer for him is of all the kids singing.

I bet that one drives him crazy lol... It would be a really good memory to have though.
I can't say as I've ever pranked anyone, using a cell. I was always too paranoid about them being traced and such. Didn't know you could get a cell phone where they couldn't tell anything about you if you pranked them.
