Could you live withouth your mobile phone?

Think back a few years when there were no mobiles - could you go back to that? Would it make a significant change to your life if you had to rely on public phone boxes instead?

Personally it wouldn't bother me - I often go out without my phone and so far it hasn't never caused a problem.

Actually, I think it is a matter of being used to something. If there is no mobile phone, there will be less communication but people will become more disciplined in planning their activities and the best thing... spend less and become less materialistic... don't you think so?

For me, mobile phone is a convenience, not a must-have.

I've never had a mobile phone. Nor do I use public telephones very frequently - in fact I can't remember the last time I did. When I'm out, I'm doing something. I can go home and then talk to my friend or family on the phone. I am thinking of getting a cell phone now for emergencies and since my business is growing.

I use my cell phone a lot. Thanks to my cell phone, I can keep in contact with my best friends, who are scattered all over the country (California, Massachussetts, Georgia, Florida.. I live in Rhode Island). I also use my cell phone for little things. It's not a necessity, but it makes life a heck of a lot easier and more comfortable.

I think kids these days couldn't survive -they go into cold sweats when you tell them they can't use them during exams!

I barely use mine, except for when I have to. So I could exist fine without it. My younger sister would probably die, though. Hyperventilate after five minutes.

No way! I won't have access to communicating with my girlfriend when I'm away.. that thought just scares me. Thank God for technology.

My mobile is my ONLY phone, so for that reason I would have a hard time living without it.

I have had a mobile phone and before those existed a car phone. I only have one out of necissity. I personally HATE talking on the telephone, so if I could somehow manage my life without needing a mobile phone, I would not miss it at all.

We only use our phone for emergencies anyhow. It spends most of its time hanging out in my purse. Right now, actually, the battery is running low and I need to figure out where I put the charger. Hmmmm....

But we live very well without our cell phone. It's simply a matter of convenience. That's all.
