Which would you choose and why?
I have been suffering with a V3 RAZR from cingular for the last year and a half. I should be more specific though...in the last 16 months, I've had 4 V3 RAZR's. It is a really crappy phone. None of the replacements are my fault, by the way...the first one lost display, the second one quit reading my SIM, and the third one fried while it was on the charger (and destroyed the battery too.
So, I'm tired of the RAZR, and I asked to speak with a manager when I called for replacement. I asked her what it would take for me to not have to use a RAZR anymore...even if it meant taking a downgrade, I was willing to do that in order to have a phone that wouldn't break down on me so easily.
She offered me two replacement models. The LG cu500, or the Samsung a707.
I've done a little research, and it sounds like they're VERY similar, with each one have a few little features which make it favorable to the other. I'm not concerned with features, I just want it to work. So which one would you choose?
LG cu500 or Samsung a707
Both fones arok so i would concentrate on which handset holds the best suited specs for your usage.
To be honest the v3 is very old in the mobile fone indusrty although it was ground breaking when it 1st appeared.
Now on the uk you can get two for the price of one !
Good luck in your choice

6 on one hand...half a dozen on the other
Samsung and LG phones are both produced in South Korea, where they try all the tricks of the trade to outdo one another. Your assertion that they are very similar is correct. At that level, almost nothing separates the two but their looks. You might as well flip a coin to choose one over the other.
So, instead of thinking about the short term, think longer. Have you seen any other Samsungs or LGs that you'd like to have? If so, pick that manufacturer's phone and get an idea of whether or not you like their menus, functions, etc. Think of it as a quick test drive. It won't tell you what it's like to own the LG Chocolate or a high-end Samsung handset, but it could help you make a decision when you sign another service contract.
