The files have to be in mp4 or 3gp format. You will need something that will change them from avi or mpg to mp4, otherwise you won't be able to play them on the phone. You can get converters here http://www.mymusictools.com/download/mp4-converter/

You can use a software called ImTOO 3GP Converter to convert all the movies into a 3GP format then drag and drop the files into MSSEMC\Media files\video directory on your memory stick.

You are very welcome, anti5580 has a good one too. I don't really know anything about the 3gp format, but it is nice to have the option of a converter. I assume that ImTOO 3gp converter is a purhcased software?
