Phone For Klutzes

I am hard on things. I drop phones. I sit on them, bury them, drip things on them and cause much pain. Any tips on which phone to get that can stand up to me?

Nextel's phones usually are good for this kind of thing, especially the i530. My friend tried to break it, but failed.

Maybe you just need a bungee tether that is permanently implanted and attached to your body, that way it can never hit the ground. One thing that can help if you are a phone dropper is finding one with a good case that is available.

A few companies now have insurance you can take out if you're really clumsy with phones. I agree though, get a really good case and you shouldn't have too many problems.

I may be able to recomend a phone for you, a friend of mine is a chronic phone dropper (she drops her phone a minimum of three times a day, often on a concrete school floor) and after some experimenting, she has a phone that seems invincible. Either sometime tonight, or tomorrow I'll get back to you with the phone she uses.

One good investment would be a very sturdy, waterproof phone cover. You'd be surprised how much these can protect your phone.

The best phone to get is a Nokia! I promise you.. as long as it isn't a flip phone... it will last you for a while. I am the ultimate klutz and I have dropped my old nokia over 500 times and it lasted me for 7 years.. i finally decided to get rid of it and get a new phone!

LOL, that's was funny.
I agree, get a nice cover or case. I also agree with lpxxfaintxx, some of the Nextel phones seem to hold up pretty good. I don't have one myself but my friend does, don't know which one it is though.

I've dropped my Nokia so many times from various heights, sat on it, stood on it and all that I've had to do is replace the case.

Most of my Nokia's have been very good. So I would go for one of them.
