Sim problems!

Ok, I am in spain, I have just bought a vodafone spanish sim card. I have two phones, one is an old nokia that I intended to use with the spanish sim, the other is my regular phone from home which is a samsung contract orange phone which i was going to just use as my english phone. Anyway, I tried the sim card in the old nokia and it wont let me use it, it says to enter the pin so i do, then it ses enter the puk code so i do then it ses sim blocked. so i dont know why. And in my other phone it says to enter the pin, so i so and then it says 'network block' (but in spanish)

Why cant I use the sim card in either phone? I would prefer to use it in the nokia, do i have to get the phone unblocked? I really dont understand!

Any help would be great

The issue you probably have is that the fone is locked to a certain network. To unlock you will have to be a customer on the network the fone is locked to and expect to pay an admin fee for the unlock code.

You can get the puk from your network provider.
You have hit upon a security code to stop people using your sim andd to stop the use of the fone on other networks.

What are the specific models of both of your phones. If the mobile has been PUK locked, You need to get the code from your respective network provider. They should provide it to you.
If it is a network lock also you can get the code from your respective network provider and also yo can get the unlock code from any trusted vendor online. For example you can get the unlock code from Super Unlock Codes.com at affordable cost. You can also visit the site Mobile Unlock Guide.com This site provides free unlocking instructions. This could help you understand unlocking process better.

Every number has a unique puk number aloted, You must call vodafone customer care from some other number.

I updated my iphone 4 to the latest version and now in order to activate the phone or go past the activation screen it won't let me it says "invalid sim card" does that mean there's something wrong with the phone internally? i tried my sim card on my aunt's phone and it works.
