Smile Advise on phones

It's been a long while since i bought a mobile phone, my current one is fairly basic and outdated. Can anyone give me their opinion or advise on which is the best mobile for email communication and web surfing? I will be using it for when i go overseas to visit family and i need it for work to receive and send emails, go on to web etc. I would probably buy a local sim card in the countries i visit to keep cost down. I want to keep my existing mobile number, what is the most cost effective way of doing this, just buying the phone and putting my existing sim into it, or getting on to a contract. What is a reasonable cost for doing either of the above options. Questions or advice welcome!

I basically bought my iphone for internet.I would recommend the iPhone.I have to say though, that for browsing the web I'd rather use the touch/iphone than use the Kaiser directly. It is a nice bit of kit and worth hacking just to add instant messaging etc.

I prefer phones that support all mobile computing techniques but you can buy
iPhone.

According to me the Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the best smartphone which running on android v4.0 OS at very low cost. It comes with dual core processor and 8 megapixel camera. Its features are great which is better than the another phone's features.

If you wanna take the benefits of all kind of mobile features then according to me Samsung galaxy tab and iPhone 4S are the best phone. You can access the internet with the best speed and services through these phones.

My suggestion is to go for Galaxy S3 or HTC One X. Both are good phones. If you want to lower the cost further, Sony Xperia S is a good option.
