| The Cancer Debate So what do you all thing about the whole debate regarding cell phones causing cancer? To me, it seems that just about anything these days causes cancer so its possible that cell phones could. I have seen segments on dateline and have read studies that the research has been inconculsive. Personally, for me, I will continue to use cell phones despite any risk. If I worried about everything that might cause cancer I wouldn't go out in the sun or use a microwave. |

| its really inconclusive and a whole lot of hype, but that doesnt mean that its untrue. i really would like to see some hard facts about it.. but im not too worried. i guess if everyone starts getting cancer they'll just speed up the cure. |

Hmmm, speed up the cure...That glass of yours seems half full right? What exactly doesn't cause cancer? Is there a list? If so, I am sure cell phones won't crack the top 100. |

| I truely don't think cell phones more than anything else are causing cancer. To me, it seems like just another way of creating fear : since about forever, everytime something usefull, or simply new is created and becomes popular there has been people who did not like it and have tried to destroy it/its popularity. Some people in this world even go as far as to burn books because they think they're the product of 'satan' ^^' also, as previously said, I think it's best not to worry too much as long as nothing is scientifically proved. Worrying is a waste of time hehe. |

| It seems like everything these days causes cancer! Charbroiled food, food coloring etc.... I think just walking out side puts you at risk for cancer! If cell phones do cause cancer, we probably won't know for at least 20 years! |

| I believe it's just a case of these health freaks that only eat bamboo shoots and take 50 suppliments a day which bring debates like this about. Surely if they really did cause cancer, the fact that mobiles are so wide spread now there would be thousands of cases world wide by now. |

| Im not sure on the whole issue and I would also like to see some hard facts. But the fact of the matter is there is so much flying through the air - mobile phone signals, radio signals, satellite signals - if one of these does cause cancer whos to say none of the others do as well?! |

| I think that there is a very small chance. Heck research shows that half the things we come in contact with has a "chance" to give us a cancer, that chance isn't high though. |

| I recently read an article in the local paper about the dangers of EM Fields. It went into great depth about the hazards of cell phones, as well as the myriad of other technologies that have become necessary for modern life. Two pages later, I saw another submission by the author of the article. It was an advertisement for his services as a hypno-therapist. Case closed.
