Help with motorola please

I had my phone stolen a few days ago. I bought a new, unlocked phone from ebay, and I went to tmobile to have it activated. I purposely bought this one because it said it was 3G capable.

It only shows E at the top, not 3G. Is there a way to change this? I know I am in a place where 3G is available, because my family's hone shows it.

If the phone is 3G. You have to activate it to your phone. Can I know that which 3G handset you had bought? So I can easily give you information regarding your query.

It is sad to hear that your phone was stolen a few days ago. My girl friend's cell phone Samsung Focus was also stolen a few days ago.

OK, let's get down to your problem, you can Google for your answer, there are many ways to show you how to unlock your cell phone, it is very easy and free to operate. Good luck.

My phone was supposed to be unlocked when I purchased it.

It works fine, but I only have the Edge, not 2G or 3G. So unless I have the wireless turned on, everything is really slow.
