Nokia 3100

I have just bough at Nokia 3100 on ebay and I don't understand it! Where does the sim card go?

I wanted this phone as a back-up for my other Nokia, which has a sim card on O2 pay as you go.

Does anyone know if I can use this phone in a similar manner? Presently, when switched on it comes up with 'Tesco' on the screen but it says there's no network coverage!

TIA

Patrick

Are you sure Nokia 3100 is a SIM Card phone? Some phones, like from Verizon, don't use external SIM Cards. Are you sure your network supports this phone?

nokia 3100

hi.i have just got a new mobile but up until a couple of days ago i had the nokia 3100.i loved that phone but was time to upgrade cos it didnt have integragated camera etc.it does take a sim card as someone has kindly put up a diagram for you, but if its saying tesco on the front then its probably only set for the tesco network.you will have to get it unlocked.my brothers phone was doing this and it was cos its tesco that he bought it from,as they have their own network.
