Pda Gps Sat Nav

Im ending my contract soon and looking at getting a new phone im also looking at buying a sat nav system.A friends Dad has a PDA and software so it can be used as sat nav?.Would it be possible to buy this software for say an O2 XDA ?

Hi yes you can all you need is a sat reciever and a card with software on to run like tomtom 5 the bluetooth sat recievers are cheap on ebay the sd cards you can buy already installed or you can download the software and install yorself on a sd card

Hey

T-Mobile actually have a few new MDA phones which combine GPS Sat Nav with PDA functionality.

If you do deciede to go for one of these, please let me know how you find it as I'm actually thinking of getting one.

I've now bought a NOKIA N80 and aim looking for the best software inc Europe! the best seems to be TOMTOM unless anyone can reccomend any others?

Though I haven't got one myself, I have done a fair amount of research and everyone that I've spoken to recommends Tom Tom.
