Hospital Safe Mobile Phone?

Hi all

not sure if this exists or a phone has a mode for this, but I'm looking for a phone or application that allows a phone to receive text messages but not transmit or do a "handshake"

I work within a hospital and still want to receive text messages but don't want the phone transmtting and effecting any equipment.

Any suggestions?

I read recently that hospitals and airlines are looking at putting technology in place that stop issues caused by mobile fones affecting equipment.

no fone is out yet that resolves your issue im afraid and really dont see one which would.

When i was in hospital in a surgical ward i was told you can use mobile phones in hospitals but just not in a surgical ward or anywhere where it will interfear with emergency quiptment.

Altho if your working in a hospital and using ur phone when your working...Surly you shouldnt be doing that
