Just purchased a nexus 4 for son's 16th birthday. Paid 300. Should of researched first. Not given him yet as birthday not till Tuesday so thinking of returning! Does anyone know if it's any good? Any tips on the nexus would be well appreciated

I am mobile reviews blogger, and I can tell you its quite a solid phone..although may be for the price you may get a better deal. As an aside, since you are buying for your son, you may want to check out these 5 budget friendly tablets for school..might give you a few pointers! But you don't have to sweat it though, nexus is quite a good phone for an youngster!

It is a great value phone. It's pure android, no bloatware and you will always get the latest updates before anybody else. The specs it has put's it in the league of the S3 and One X but it costs a lot less, the screen is actually as good as the One X so you've gotten him a decent phone that you can do a lot with.

The only reason I haven't gotten one myself is the 16gb storage isn't enough for me, once you get a Nexus device you'll probably never want to change.
