Smile Which phone should you get? iPhone 5 VS Droid DNA

No sooner does Apple released the iPhone 5 than HTC and Verizon escalate with the Droid DNA. Where the iPhone 5 is slim and sophisticated, the Droid DNA is big and brutally powerful. Where Apple is anodized aluminum, HTC is soft-touch polycarbonate. Where iOS is consistent across all Apple's mobile products, HTC Sense changes up the Android interface for good or for ill. From atom to bit, the iPhone 5 and the Droid DNA couldn't be more different. So if you're looking for a new phone on Verizon, how do you choose between them?
do you know?

When I'm ready to choose a new cellphone this is what I do.

Read reviews and look at you tube unboxing and first reviews by actual owners.

Look at user to user forums but I do not get too caught up in some of the over negative threads.

Speak to family and co workers who may have the model I'm interested in.

Visit the high street cellphone high street shops to get a physical feel fir the phone on how it feels and how the operating system works. This also helps you to make a judgement in how it truly looks aesthetically.

Then I start to look at availability and costs.

The thing I like about apple is that they tend to release a new handset once a year. The rest release scores of them.

As your thread reads Apple supply a solid os and a handset made with high end materials and importantly their warranty is second to none in this industry coupled with AppleCare and AppleCare + you know your covered in most situations that can crop up.

Good luck with your choice and maybe think about re posting with your eventual choice, why and what you think about your buying experience and how the phone operates for your individual uses.
A Warm Welcome to the forum.
