Six weeks ago i lost my phone at a friends. A new one arrived and thought no more of it. He found it the other day and sent it back to me.When i turned it on it said this a an ee clone phone, return to owner or ee.It says enter your clone code to use, but this is a password and it only lets you type numbers. is this phone useless to me now? cheers

The phone will be imei barred when you claimed on the insurance.

Only the network can lift the bar.

If you contact the network you will be able to either send it to them or broker a deal to keep it for a fee and then they will lift the bar.

Without this it will just remain a rather expensive paperweight !!
