I have a Samsung rugby which I bought on ebay last year. Its unlocked and works fine on a vodaphone sim for texting and calls.
It won't however go onto the internet, when I try AT&T logo comes up and it tries for a bit but then says connection failed.
I have actually rung AT&T in the states who say it should be ok over here.
Samsung UK don't even have it on their database but offered to send a txt which when saved would enable it to go onto the internet.
I also took it to a local repair shop. They couldn't find anything on the internet about redoing the firmware but offered to 'flash' the software in the hope that it would erase AT&T and get back to Samsung settings
There was a very small risk of damaging the phone and as I like it even though its old and a flip phone I declined.
I am wondering if anybody has any ideas on this.
