easy question from a clueless user!

hi all, so I have a really old phone, Nokia 3720, and I have just got a sim that allows me to use the internet (a bit late I know!) however it won't load many pages and tells me my memory is full. I have deleted any photos and other files but its still happening. The phone does have a 1gb micro sd in it but is the memory required to load web pages different to the memory on the sd card? The phone only has 20mb of internal memory? I don't really want a smart phone or touch screen phone and only occasionally want to use the net to check weather websites to plan daily activities. I have seen a 3g phone I like online, sony erricson k800i, that has 64mb of storage, would this help my current problem, should I b able to browse web pages better with more internal memory?

thanks loads for any help

kind regards

Neil
