Last month I bought a phone from exotic phone dot com and my cell phone has a GPS remote locator. I guess, in theory, if you were to lose your phone, you could activate the GPS remote locator with your computer and find out where your phone is. I was wondering does any one know how the GPS remote tracker works in practical.
The network operator must somehow triangulate to find your signal.
I would suggest you speak to your operator and manufacturer of the handset to confirm what process is undertook if you lose the handset or have it stolen.
