The Samsung Galaxy Core GT-I8262, is a smartphone manufactured by Samsung that runs the open source Android operating system. Announced by Samsung in early May 2013, the Dual-SIM model has been released in mid-to-late May 2013, and the single SIM version for July 2013 though the single SIM model doesn't exist in some countries.

Features
The device is similar in specs to the Samsung Galaxy SII, with a camera resembling that of the Samsung Galaxy Ace and a design like the Samsung Galaxy SIII. A key selling point of the device is the ability to have and use two SIM cards simultaneously – a feature Samsung has announced, but not specified how it shall work yet.

Display Quality

The Nokia Lumia has a smaller screen size at 4 inches, compared to the 4.3 inches of the Samsung Galaxy Core. The pixel density, however, is higher for the Nokia Lumia at 233 ppi, when compared to the 217 ppi of the Galaxy Core. LCD display technology is used in the Nokia Lumia, while TFT technology is applied to the Galaxy Core. Both the phones weigh 124 grams, but the Galaxy Core is more portable of the two even with a regular protective case.

As far as the quality of the display is concerned, the Lumia 520 is about .3 inches smaller when compared to the Core, but the pixel density, which is measured in the number of pixels per inch in the display, works out to be 7% higher than the Galaxy Core, due to the smaller screen size. This makes the screen of the Lumia 520 sharper in comparison.

Battery and Camera
The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Core is higher at 1,800 mAh, compared to the 1,430 mAh of the Nokia Lumia 520, though both the devices use the same Li Ion battery technology. The battery capacity is a very accurate way of measuring the performance of the batter and the Core has a higher mAh. However, the Core has a bigger display screen and in a mobile phone the display is the largest drain on the battery. Hence, the large screen of the Core results in draining the battery faster, when compared to the smaller display screen of the Nokia Lumia 520.

Both the devices have a 5 MP rear camera, with the Galaxy Core also having a 0.3 MP front camera. Both the phones offer the usual camera options, such as Digital zoom, an Auto focus feature and Panorama, but the Galaxy Core, in addition, also offers Burst mode and an LED flash. However, the Core does not have the Digital zoom offered by the Nokia Lumia 520.
