Advice needed please.

Long story short....
Ive been using the iPhone 4 for the last 2 and a half year's and that phone never missed a beat !
My contract came up for renewal and I didn't want to spend the amount my service provider wanted to upgrade to the iPhone 5c. I was hoping to get an iPhone 5 cheaper but they didn't have any in stock.
So I ordered a Nokia Lumia 1020 which was free with the same package that I had for the last 2 year's. What I found was I loved the Nokia handset ! builded like a tank, off line maps ! local scout, city len's, the screen ! and the amazing camera.
What I didn't like was windows 8 ! You get notifications but if you do not look at them at the time you get the notice they are gone forever, The app issue is just that ! an issue. I downloaded the twitter app and I had several direct message's on my iMac but none showed up my handset twitter ! weird !
I don't use many app's ! twitter, Facebook and instagram is about it and windows phone has those but they are not as complete as the iOS apps were.
But I loved the phone.
I sold my iPhone 4 and set about using the Nokia. after 4 weeks I could take it no more and sold the Nokia device. I have tried a Samsung galaxy s3 and didn't really like that either.
I have 200 to spend on a phone and I think my choice is either

A used iPhone 4s

Its what I am used to

or

A new Nokia 920

My thoughts being that the Nokia is due an update which may bring the notification centre that is needed and one or 2 other improvements.
The Nokia is 4g which is what my network includes.
The Nokia is new and has warranty
I did love the Nokia phone and will learn to love the software.

What would your advice be in my situation ?

Many thanks

Scott

I have just been to the phone store and been looking at the samsung galaxy s4 mini. Looks a nice device, how does this compare to my other choice's.
