I'm sure theres no other reason other then, "to be different". It's probably some type of anti-marketing tactic. Give them what they don't want to stir up controversy, and hopefully, get some sales. To be honest, the "mustardy" color isn't that bad, and I'm sure there will be plenty of aftermarket faceplates for them. Nokia embraces them.
