Why is this relevant?

To start with, the newer phones are HSPDA devices which means that they are compatible with mobile broadband. Instead of a USB stick the actual phone can be used as a modem. Maybe if you were a bit older and wiser you would know this.

Please do not post useless replies if you do not know what you are talking about, least of all it is irrelevant to you anyway as you are not old enough to take a contract yourself, so this thread does not concern you.

Mobile phones aren't just mobile phones these days, there is a lot more you can do with them. Sorry to sound harsh but this is reality.

its relevent because.....

1) only the TOP phones have hsdpa
2) most top phones can go on fast internet anyway ( 3.0G / 3.5G ) i can easily go onto internet now, ( at the side it says i ave d900, i now have iphone, easy internet
3) you only show the pros, what about the cons? yh 12.77, you could easily jack it up after 1st month up to something like 30 and with u not specifying how long contract is, it could cost a bomb.
4) you dont specify how long the contract is, for all we know, it could be 50 months
5) you dont specify the range of these usb sticks, could be just like 100 yards from nearest server.
6) only few phones have usb ports , N95 and k850 are the only phones i know with usb ports. ( not including blackberry or PDA like phones )

Answers

1) only the TOP phones have hsdpa
**Most people have a desire for these top phones
2) most top phones can go on fast internet anyway ( 3.0G / 3.5G ) i can easily go onto internet now, ( at the side it says i ave d900, i now have iphone, easy internet
**It's not about accessing the web on your phone but using the device to get the web on your laptop
3) you only show the pros, what about the cons? yh 12.77, you could easily jack it up after 1st month up to something like 30 and with u not specifying how long contract is, it could cost a bomb.
**Fair enough, my mistake for being too brief. It's 12.77 + VAT for duration of the contract.
4) you dont specify how long the contract is, for all we know, it could be 50 months
**Generally 24 mths to get the USB sticks free, but can be done on 12 or 18mths without equipment
5) you dont specify the range of these usb sticks, could be just like 100 yards from nearest server.
**Can be used worldwide, however roaming charges would kick in
6) only few phones have usb ports , N95 and k850 are the only phones i know with usb ports. ( not including blackberry or PDA like phones )
**The phones don't need usb ports on them, just a USB connection to connect to a laptop or PC

ahhhh i see, you plug the usb stick into laptop, and plug phone into usb stick, sooo weve still got to walk round with a whopping laptop, that wont last long in public. you need to explain things more clearly, i got confused. " WITH OUR MOBILE BROADBAND USB STICK" "Instead of a USB stick the actual phone can be used as a modem."
