SE w960i hotmail/web question

Hi all
I am using my Sony Ericsson w960i to access hotmail
the major annoyance is it automatically renders hotmail in "mobile" version. wich seems to make downloading a zip attachment (or even knowing that there is an attachment for that matter) impossible.

Is there any way I can override this setting so that the webpage is rendered as a proper web version? (even an iphone or nokia n71 does this by default)

alternatively, is there a web browser i can download for my phone that will handle this?
