Contact your service provider for the unlock code for a fee, although your contract must be up or 3 months gone on a payg.

Or visit your local flea market for a trader to open up the handset to all networks. They can only do this type of unlock. If the handset has been imei locked then this is down to some sort of fraud or theft.

Be aware that when the network buys the handset of the manufacturer they impose their own network software which sometimes can conflict with your new chosen network.

Thank you, Lee, for your response.
Trouble is that in my country, Israel, the contract with service provider is for three YEARS and fee for release is quite high.
So I'll prefer to get a code and unlock the phone myself.

Best regards,

has1

Wow 3 years is harsh.

With the mobile market and the networks being so fast and changing being locked in for so long is almost criminal.

Do you not have pay as u go options ?

Do NOT be tempted by websites offering codes for cash
