| oooops!! A few months back I rather enthusiastically washed my work trousers to later find out my SE K850 was still in them!! I let the phone dry out for a few days then plugged the charger in, the light around the power button flashed red twice and nothing has happened since. I kinda accepted the inevitable and kicked myself as this is the first phone in years I havn't insured!! I'm currently using a cheapy SE K320 but I'm starting to miss the K850. Is it likely the K850 can be saved from the dead?? Cheers! |

| Strip the battery out and leave it in an airing cupboard for a few days and try again. If it will not power up or charge then the mother board will be fried. Most repair shops will tell you the repair cost outways the cost of the handset. Most handsets have a colour indicator inside of the fone to highlight fluid ingression to the engineer. If you do purchase another and have insurance onto it make sure this covers this type of accident.
