SonyEricsson V630i

My Sony ericsson V630i only lights up when I turn it on,cant make or receive calls,I'm told in the shop it could the screen,could be software but if it was the screen,wouldnt I be able to make a call.I did drop it in some months ago in water but it was OK until now any ideas please

It should be screen. You can receive/make calls with broken screen. I used to have a phone with broken screen. You need to exchange it.

or use it, its an imitation of phone for blind people

Phone OK now ,it was the software. Anyone one know if there is a free unlocking site around for this ,its locked to vodaphone cheers

Either contact vodafone for the unlock code which will cost you an admin fee of £15 to £30'ish, you have to have either finished your contract or 3 months have elapsed on your payg, or take it to a market trader who will unlock it for you.

Dont be tempted by internet sites offering dodes/data cables etc
