N78 Photos Not in Gallery

N78 Photos Not in Gallery
I've have a couple of problems with this:--

1. Sometimes the photos I take with the phone don't appear in the gallery and disappear off the phone as though I had never taken them

2. I took some photos with my normal camera and transferred them to the phone. I have stored the photos in the images folder on the phone, but I can't get them to appear in the gallery.

Anybody have any solutions to this?
