| Cheap Hongkong Phones...help!! Hi and greetings i recently bought a CECT 318 which is a hello kitty phone (was for my lady) from hongkong and was guranteed it would work here (uk) as asia and uk are on the same gsm band, but when i put in my 02 sim it just says 'sim invalid' is there anything anyone can do? i'd be must grateful thank you in advance peace Ash  |

| Check the handset is tri band. And that the handset is unlocked to all networks. If purchased from an auction check the wording on the description. You can launch a dispute in certain circumstances. Try an alternative sim card and another network sim to see if it's the sim your using is defective or not. Most market traders can unlock handsets for a nominal fee.

| hi i've bought the cect p8 mine accepts my o2 sim but o2 don't have the settings for mms or wap (unless it's somthing else! i don't know! ) but i can send and recieve sms and calls! Lee |
