GPS help

Hi all,

I'm thinking of moving up in the world by ditching my Pebl for a BlackBerry. I've only owned cell phones that have been GPSless so I'm a little confused about the whole concept.

I'm planning on purchasing an unlocked BlackBerry, I'm already on Orange (pay as you go) so I was wondering if the GPS would work out of the box, using my Orange sim card.

You will need to make sure the blackberry is unlocked to all networks.

Also its advisable you speak to t mobile to add a data package as using the internet/e mail apps will soon add up in cost.

Yeah. I'll be purchasing the BlackBerry from ebay so yes it will be unlocked.

Is that the only way to add a data package? And why T-Mobile? I'm on Orange.

A data package will help the cost not to spiral.

If your buying it off E Bay please read the description very carefully to ensure its fully unlocked.

Im not telling you how to suck eggs, but try to only use paypal as this would be your strongest way to register a dispute if its not unlocked, or goes IMEI locked after so long.

Auction sites are awash with handsets that are locking up due to fraud.
