Call function doesn't work abroad? Hey all, maybe someone has any input on this. I experience a problem with my Wiko Ridge 4G, in that everytime I'm traveling in India I cannot use the regular phone function of my phone. Note that everything else works, including the online call/ videocall features. I'm using an indian prepaid card for this. When I try to call, all I get is an error bleep. I also can't be reached. A colleagues Samsung didn't have this problem, it even worked with my indian Sim card. And everytime I'm back at the german Airport (one time also at a mid-stop airport in Bahrain) the thing works normally again. Anyone an idea what's wrong? Is there some setting with the SIM card that I need to fix? Would be neat if I wouldn't have to buy an extra phone, I like my old one. Cheers |

Hey Briscount, There is this website somewhere (though I can't remember the name now!!!) where all possible frequencies are listed for hte different countries, because some countries have restrictions on the frequencies can be used. You can read about that here: https://www.certification-india.com/en/wpc/what-is-wpc/ But please also check your phone"s settings, often you can switch to another frequency, then it might work. Is your mobile contract properly set up for roaming ? You may need to speak with your networks customer services. As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone and then see what happens.
