Question Should I install a custom rom on a Xperia U?

Hi, I have an old xperia u and would like to know if it's recommended to install a custom rom for it since it's an old phone. If so, which would be a good one and why?

Thanks, any help appreciated.

Have you ever installed custom firmware on smartphones? If so, you can experiment, but I would not advise inexperienced users to do this, because this way you can "kill" the smartphone.
