Hi everyone, I have just brought the Samsung E900, and having a few problems.. I'll listen them out here, and see if any of you can help me sort them..
I'm trying to connect my phone to the computer through the conection wizard...I chose to do USB, so I plug myself in merrily, then wait for it to connect to the PC.. It says it may take some time, but 4023 seconds later - still no connection. Whats going on there? Another problem is with the WAP thing, I go on to the internet on the phone easily, and surf to find a song I want to download. When I find it I complete the two steps of buyinbg it then it tried to download it and there is always a failure in payment.. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks again for you help.. and finally.. When I send text messages they don't seem to be then appearing in my sent items box.. They did for a while, but now they're just not appearing.. Does anyone know the cause of this? Or how I can fix it? Also.. Can you really only have 15 messages stored?? Any help to any of these points is massively appreciated.. Thanks. |

Some phones only allow the 15 message outbox in them, so delete some of your sent messages if you want to view the newer ones. As for connecting to your computer, I'd suggest getting BlueTooth as no one I know has ever had a problem with it.

You need to make sure that the messages are not going onto the phone and onto the sim, i got the same message.

Hi,
1st - Try reinstalling the Samsung E900 software back onto your PC. Have you tried a bluetooth dongle with this? 2nd - I agree with hursg. Dont buy from WAP, get it from the PC and transfer it to your phone. 3rd - Before you send the text message you gete the options to send, send and save, etc. Select the Send and Save option, then you will find that the messages will be saved on the phone's outbox. Check the memory status of the phone. If you have got loads of music, pictures, videos, etc.. then you will probably be only to save a few text messages. Hope this helps. |

You are correct. Using Limewire, morpheus and bit torrents to download music from filesharing files , in law terms and copyrighted data is illegal. I wouldnt worry about the amount you will download tho , the companies normally go after the uploaders, and the people who download massive amounts of data. |

The worst fone I have ever had the disappointment to own is the e 900 !
I was originally drawn to the d 900 but was put off by the width of it. The e 900 is so terribly devised. Combination of hard press and touch keys on the front is an awful idea. I sometimes forget which ones to tab ,and which ones to press. Also the keypad locks out when you make a call...why...terrible idea. The heat sensative keys are no where near the quality of the LG k500 choc fone. Also the C {cancel} button is so near i nearly always accidently catch it and clear what im doing ,and get sent back to the main screen. The camera and video capabalities are ok, and it definatly needs the sd card slot, as the supplied memory is terrible. Ive never known a fone to pick up so much thumb prints too. The battery is good, as so is the talktime and standby time. The menu system is workable too. I still now wish I had picked the d900 tho. :| If your truly worried about using fileshare then their are sites out there that send stuff to your handset by way of text to gprs and charge you by text.Be careful not to use the ones that are a subscription based service and continue to charge you a monthly amount ! |
