Sony Ericsson W910i camera not working

Hi, the above phone's camera has suddenly stopped working, when i press the camera button i get a message which say `Press 0 for help` i do that but nothing happens
i used Sony Ericsson's PC Suite to update the software on the phone couple of days ago, however the camera worked after doing that then nothing

the phone is also unlocked

any idea's anybody?...thanks in advance

It sounds like a firmware update is needed as the software update did not clear the issue.

Depending on how old the fone is you would be able to get a free update from outlets such as carfone warehouse as long as your local one has a repair centre in it. They will do this free even if you didnt buy the handset from them as long as you have proof of purchase.

If not then try a trusted Cellfone shop near you.

Hi Lee, thanks for replying, however, known only to the phone itself the camera has started working again and i've not done anything to it other than shut it down and leave it overnight.....Theres technology for you
