Nokia 2630 problem

Hi. can anyone help with a problem that me and my friend are having with our new nokia 2630...bought them on Saturday from different stores and find that when we send a text, we are getting the message bleeps on the phones exactly like when you recieve a text...can anyone tell us how to turn this off as it's annoying and confusing...have been in touch with Nokia but they say they don't know how to do it. We are both on 02 pay and go. All help appreciated. Thanks

Normally you go into ;


menu
settings
profiles and enter into the profile u are using
personalise
message alter tone
Go into tones or gallery and choose a tone u want for incoming text messsage, or chosse standard or special.

Or go into tones settings from the menu and choose from there.

Thanks for your help but it was an O2 issue. My sister in law has the same phone on Vodaphone but does not have this problem. After contacting 02 this morning and having to threaten changing providers unless something was done, they emailed me to say that they had "removed the balance notifications from my account."...it has solved the problem. It would seem that everytime we made a call or sent a text, we got a balance update with an annoying bleep that we definitely couldn't turn off through our phones...we could turn off the tones that controlled anything incoming but not anything to do with the balance notifications...now we're bleep free at last....it's just a pity after several phone calls/emails to their customer service they couldn't have done it sooner rather than me having to get into a rant with them and threaten to change providers ...it would appear we're not the only ones having this problem with O2 as I have read other threads on various websites asking for help with exactly the same problem.
