e800 and irda problems

Hi ya,

I have an E800 which i am trying to connect to via the irda with my computer, however, windows see's the phone but the Samsung EasyStudio software just does not seem to acknowledge it simply stating that its off line. I have also tried a E810 and seems to be the same problem however, with my d500 it seems fine. Are there any known problems with the other two?

Did you get some sort of installation disc which enables the phone and computer to be linked? A lot of friends of mine had this problem and it was solved easily by requesting the installation of the hard disk required for its connection

I been downloading software from the samsung website as opposed to using any accompanying disks. i have downloaded a number of them and found one that seems to work, thank you very much for your time.

Samsung Easy Studio worked fine on my e800 but got the prb in my D410

Hi,

All the phones have worked over either bluetooth or IRDa with the exception of the E810-v. Windows will see that its connected to the usb IRDa port however, when i start various versions of the Easy Studio software it always displays that its offline.

Has anyone come across a working model version at all?
