Lost/mislaid D500

Hi ya,

I am really sorry and it may seem that this is a joke question but ya never know unless ya ask. I have mislaid my D500 indoors somewhere, it was last seen around 4-5am Sunday morning in my kitchen but not seen since and i suspect i picked it up in my sleepy state. I have tried looking everywhere in the house and garden but i cannot find it, i tried calling it but it goes straight to answerphone and i then tried connecting via bluetooth but it prompts unable to complete connection. I have tried this from room to room with same result. Are there any bluetooth hacks or workarounds that may help me locate the thing, such as triggering audio alerts without my having to touch the phone?

Is your phone on or off? If its on take a cordless phone near it and it should get all fuzzy when you are nearby. If it's off then you might wanna look harder!

Hmmm, didnt think of using the cordless, thanks.

Unfortunately i dont know if its on or off as for some reason its going straight to answer phone which i usually have it set for a number of rings first, ah well.
