Lg Viewty or Samsung F490??

hi all, was wondering if you could help me decide which mobile phone to buy,
im interested in 2 mobiles atm which are Lg Viewty and Samsung F490.
They are both owned by friends of mine so they can sell it cheap to me .
The Lg Viewty is Second hand for £90 which is very cheap,
The Samsung F490 is £120 which is also very cheap but is brand new in the box and everything not been used.
They are both touchscreen and both have 5mp camera,
ive read some reviews on them both and ive got to say that the Lg Viewty is slightly better because the touchscreen is more responsive and the camera is slightly better quality. Just stuck on deciding because the Samsung is brand new but the Lg is second hand but in excellent condition.

I am not sure if there is much to choose between them, saying that i have not had to live with either.

Personaly i would tend to think Samsung has a better pedegree but as you say the camera features of the Viewty seem to be better.

Samnsung have however brought out some new touchscreen models since the viewty ans the F490 were released and LG has not.

This would suggest that Samsung are planing on developing their touchscreen technology further.

if it was my decision i would i would probubly choose the Samsung purely based on the brand and anyhow the difference between the two is probably negledgable especially when compared to pictures taken with any half decent digital camera.

Is there anything else that would sway your decision either way ????
what do you do with your phone normally? internet, email, music, video etc

the question about what i will use it for? well i would have music on it, occasionally browse the internet and alot more
But im still swaying towards the lg viewty because it also features a slowmotion video playback which i think would be quite cool and it also has a youtube feature on it were you can upload videos from the phone straight to YouTube, i don't know if you can download videos from YouTube like the iPhone can
im going to have another look at the Lg Viewty that is for sale and double check the condition.

I would choose Samsung F490, just takes a while to get used to it. The user interface is different to other phones especially if you are used to non-touch phones. Cut and paste facilities are missing. This can be useful if sending emails.... Over all its good. MP3 player options are great and the web browser works very well.
