Best for Internet????
hiya
Wondered if someone can help me (as i'm not at all up to date with the latest technology stuff). I'm due for an upgrade soon and wondered if someone can advise me which the best handset would be for surfing the internet. I'm with the carphone warehouse and want to get one of those bolt on thingy's where you get unlimited internet useage. If I ask them they'll just recommend whichever one they get most commission from. p.s. in case anyone was going to suggest it I can't afford an iphone. Thank you so much in advance for any help anyone can give me. Helena |

Can we have some more info about what your likes and dislikes are to help advise you better.
Do you want a touch screen phone ? Do you want a qwerty keyboard ? Do you have a favoured manufacturer ? Do you have a favoured Network ? How important is the camera ? Do you want GPS ? Do you want Windows OS or Symbian OS or are you not bothered ? How much are you prepared to pay per month for the contract ? Are you prepared to pay extra for the handset and if so how much ? If i was picking for myself i would want: 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Windows OS OR Symbian OS, GPS and a qwerty keyboard but this limits you basicly to the HTC Touch Pro or the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 without a qwerty keyboard there are more options such as the touchscreen samsungs (Omnia), the new Nokia N96 and the HTC Touch Diamond If money was not important then i would go for the new BlackBerry Storm 9500 Last edited by tomtom1313 : 13-10-2008 at 11:08 AM. |

Yes that helps alot.
I would suggest either the The HTC Touch Diamond or The Samsung i900 Omnia 16GB both are available for under £100 premium and with contracts for £30 If you need any more help just let me know |

yes, you can get the N96 for the same price eg
Compare contract Options for the Nokia N96 Black on Vodafone's Anytime Talk 30 (18m) Tariff but there will be alot more choices than that |

Hi all. I just got the Omnia and IMHO it is the best for internet. Out there they (reviewers) are calling it the "iPhone Killer". I have to say, I agree with them, as I have tried the iPhone ( my wifes) and was not overly impressed with it. 5 mixapixel camera with the Omnia (toys for boys!)
