"Walkman Phones" Which is Better?

My old Walkman as recently broke. So I am going to be getting a new phone. I am going to get a contract phone. I have the option out of the following three Sony phones:
  • Sony Ericsson W910i
  • Sony Ericsson W890i
  • Sony Ericsson W595i
Which is better? Most reliable? I will only use the phone to Play Music, Text, and obviouly make phone calls. I don't use any of the other features.

Thanks,
BlueEew.

All three are pretty stable handsets.

I would suggest you look at the overall full specs of all three and also which asthetics of the fone draw you in.

When you consider walkman phones any mid ranged Sony Ericsson phones would do fantastic. I personally had the w910i for some months. Later got it replaced though for other reasons. It was an awesome phone when the headphones were plugged into the ears. I am sure any brand you go for you wont be disappointed when you choose to own a Sony.

All three are decent handsets, depends what design you like best really (since if you only play music and text the other specs like cameras etc I guess aren't that important).

This mobile phone magazine (Radio, Television and Mobile Phone Guides Home page) has a couple of them reccommended in their best buys section and some pretty good reviews, so you could check that out.

It also depends on your budget. The W595 is hugely popular and seen as the entry level. But ive had alerts of lately to the W910i being greatly reduced in price and its increased in popularity since. Think its available from around £79.99 whereas the W595 I think you are still looking at the £120-130 entry level mark.

It still depends because the W910i is the older handset and when you look closely at the specs it has a 2 megapixel camera compared to the W595 having a 3.2 megapixel camera. I think Sony Ericsson are actually in the process of phasing the W910i out of their range - like anything there is a lifespan thats not to say its not a bargain.

Just make sure you read up on user reviews before you decide but if your after a Walkman phone then the W910i would certainly do the job for you. It just depends what else you want thrown in and your price range.

If you need any help just give me a yell I would be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
