Alternatives to the N95 8gb

I'm looking for a new phone and I fancy getting something nice, I take alot of photos so I was thinking about getting the n95 8gb because i've heard alot of good things about it and it's camera?

I was wondering what you guys thought of the 8gb and if there is anything else in that price bracket i should be looking at?

I agree it's an excellent bit of kit but have you seen the HTC handsets ???

The TyTn 2, which is now quite old as well is absolutely ace as well

I havent seen them but the newer HTC Models should be every bit as good if not better.

The HTC Diamond and HTC Touch HD are very nice phones, I have a Diamond myself. The internal memory often goes faulty on the N95 8GB, but overall they are quite reliable phones. Don't go near the N96 - It has so many issues at the moment, slow response from keypad being the main one.

N95 8gb

hi, i had the n95 8gb & loved it, it was a great phone. alot of my friends were geting the n96 & untill i played with 1 of theres i didnt think id wana change my n95. but guess what i just had to get 1. i got mine today from http://uk-mobiles.synthasite.com/ and got a very good deal. so if i were u i would defo consider the n96 as an option. an amazing phone and probably the best feature i have found on it is the BBC i player, great bit of kit!

N95 is a great phone why are you still looking for another? You said it has the features you are looking for so go for it. It's your choice.

My Nokia N95 8GB has the BBC iplayer, the previus owner must have installed it on before I bought it. Don't get me wrong, I really like the N96 too but check out these things on yours that my mate gets on his, as he has just got one too:
1. If screen is on full brightness, when it goes off it won't come back on (unless you adjust the brightness at this point).
2. The naviwheel doesn't work (heard that only the beta models had it, however there is an option on the production ones to set it 'breathing' or not, what that does I have no idea but it didn't seem to change anything).
Apart from that so far I would happily have it, mainly for the funky design and the 16GB. It seems to have warmer colours than the N95 8GB, which I like.
