1, Buy out the remaining months of your contract to end it 200.00.

2, Then open up another contract with 02 and port your number over
before ending the vodafone contract.

3, Purchase the iphone opened up via jailbrake etc and insert your own 02
sim, but make sure you have a data plan with it. It can be bought from
outlets such as www.cex.com

4, Purchase it as pay as you go for 349 from 02, which comes with
12 months unlimited internet use, then 20 a month thereafter.

cheers buddy.

so buying out the remainder of the contract is the only way?

Vodafone wont allow you just to end the contract now as they will want their full subsidy when they originally supplied the fone to you, and as you probably know they dont support the iphone, as 02 got the rights to support it.

The only other option is to use their services for the remaining 8 months and then port your number to 02 and end the voda contract.

If you cant wait then buy it out and do the porting now.
Kinda expensive but if you have the disposable income then go for it.

Personally i'd use Vodafone services for 8 months, and either open up a second contract with 02, or buy it as pay as you go.

thanks for the advice mate

Your very welcome.
