screen protectors

Hi guys, just had a small question. What do you use to protect the LCD screen of your htc HD? A friend suggested using clear tape… but umm, anyone with any other ideas?

It's a touch screen so you can't put any tape over the screen.

You can purchase invisable shields that bond to the screen.

Its an american product that was originally used to coat army helicopter rotor blades to lengthen the life of them.

They are reasonably priced and come pre cut for your handset.

Just google to find which retail outlets or sites offer them for sale.

Its very inadvisable to use clear tape.
It would not last that long and would leave a resadue on the screen.

Clear tape?? No way!!!! Please do your phone a favor and get a film or plastic LCD screen protector. Try navprotector.com or do a Google search for a local provider.

I have the invisable shield on my iPod Touch and although its not a perfect fit and was fiddly to apply it has been on for almost 18 months and the back and front look just like the day i bought it, also the shield hasn't pealed or had any of the problems that people seem to experience with the cheaper alternatives so i would say go for one of them, I'm sure i have seen them in CarPhoneWarehouse or one of the other big high-street phone stores so just keep an eye out
