Carphone Warehouse

Can you exchange phones if you have used them for a couple of days? I upgraded to the Renoir. I like it, but I'd rather the iphone. Do you think they'd let me chage (plus cash if necessary) or is it too late?

their policy seems to be that they will not change. However, I've seen reviews where people have said that they don't like phone X so they are taking it back

Upgrades.

Pay Monthly Contract.
--------------------------
Virgin and Vodafone is within 14 days.

T-Mobile, Orange, 3 , 02, & Talkmobile is not permitted.

This is enforced by the networks which means carfone Warehouse's hands are tied.

I once chose the prada after playing with the demo model. But one thing that did not present itself was an ascending incoming call ringtone which was useless as i missed lots of calls. The sales rep suggested i buy on 02 as this was the least expensive option. When i took it back after 3 days I was denied a return of the handset and re opt for another handset, and offering to pay any shortfall. I was told this was the networks policy. After pointing out the 14 day exchange i was given a blue returns leaflet from under the counter. I e mailed CPW customer service about the lack of info in the main magazine, hence they actually now put this in the mag on page 2.

Even after speaking to the manager of the shop and explaining the above i was left with a pretty useless handset. I ended up selling it to a well known highstreet shop that buys off you. PM me if you want to know the name !

Ifyour going to chance your arm and try anyway just remember to remain calm and keep your voice low and polite.

Good luck

cheers for the info.

I had used mine (on O2) for 5 days but managed to blag them. I changed to the iphone at no extra cost and even got 30 quid back for the used memory card that I bought.

Very glad that I did. The iphone is waaaaay better
