LG Cookie or LG Viewty, which should i get?

I am after a new mobile phone, i currently have a Sony Ericsson W300i which has served me well but its a bit tired now and id like a new phone.

I love gadgets and i love the idea of an Apple iPhone but the pennies wont stretch to one of those and i only buy PAYG phones, dont like to be tied to a contract.

I like the Lg Cookie and the Lg Viewty as they are touchscreen phones but which should i get.

Im not interested in accessing the internet with it. I will use it for photos, music, texting and games.

I like the feature of the cookie that when you are texting you can turn the phone horizontally and a qwerty keyboard appears, Can the Viewty do this?

I also like the idea of having Google maps loaded on the Viewty, can the cookie do this?

I am totally baffled as to which phone to get. Didnt want to spend much more than £100 and Carphone warehouse has them both in , Viewty at £127 + £10 top up and the Cookie at £97 + £10 top up.

Which one is the best or are there any other phones out there that you think i might like?

The cooke is a budget model designed to target the budget concious.

If you can afford the extra funds then go for the Lg Viewty.

Thumbs up

In the end its not just the initial outlay of the funds to purchase, its what you want and need from the handset to suite your lifestyle.

Some highstreet stores have working demo models for you to try out.
This allows a limited feel of the fone before you buy.

I hope you are happy with your final choice.
