Touchscreen question?

Ive been reading the other threads on this forum and i saw something that made me wonder, are touchscreens very fragile as in will they wear out from frequent use eg. texting ( not from man handling) . I would love to know as i was thinking of getting one.

No they will not wear out as their is a matrix underneath the screen which reacts to your touch. All you are actually touching is the screen not the touch technology
