phone comparison

At the moment i have a 2g iphone and like it very much. My contact it up in a couple of months and i am looking at two phone, the 3g iphone and the Samsung Omnia.
I visited an Orange shop and they gave me a demo of the Omnia and was left very disapointed, the screen seemed very reluctant to go where i want it to as for using your finger, forget it.

Has anyone had both phones and what is your opinion. I have a lot of music on my present iphone and use it to watch films while on plane flights for holiday. The iphone connection is also good and stable.

The Omnia has windows which i like but i know it can be flakey on a PC connection (at least my old Orbit was) Have i read the info right and it will connect as a flash drive ??

To be honest I think youve answered your own question.

Stick with what you have confidence in.

There have been rumors about the next generation I-phone being announced at the MWC 2009 (Mobile World Congress) on the 16th Feb. Check out Gsm arena on that date to see. I might consider it myself if the rumors are true.

new iphone

I like the look of the 3g iphone but they kept a crappy 2mp camera, do they really think it is that good. The lens is so small and the sublect has to be virtually statonary !!

Oh I know..It was the one thing feature wise that put me off getting one, as well as it not being nokia lol, Ive always gone for them, however, hopefully this rumured one will have at least a 5 mp and not have to be kept so stationary, pluss flash. They are clever though...They would get away with a 3.2 mp, its all about the touch response feedback. They seem to be adding applications rather than bringing out models all the time like most manufactures, hopefully this will change, maybe bring out a 60 gb ? We'll see what happens at the MWC feb 16th.

Unfortunately, i've only used Moto HTC and Blackberries. I am hoping the new Dream (or G1 in the states, I am canadian) will be pretty good
